Bespoke Laminated Glass Solutions
In addition to our standard laminated glass range with PVB interlayer, we manufacture custom laminated glass solutions in-house using EVA interlayers. Our custom lamination capabilities include:
- Toughened or annealed glass
- Maximum dimensions up to 1900 x 2650 mm
- Finished glass thicknesses from 6 to 40 mm (thicker constructions available on request)
By laminating in-house, we maintain full control over quality, flexibility and lead times, allowing us to support both standard and highly specialised projects.
Applications
Thanks to the properties of the interlayer used, laminated glass is suitable for a wide range of applications. The PVB interlayer improves safety by holding the glass together in the event of breakage. This makes it ideal for applications such as windows, doors, partitions and other installations where enhanced safety is required.
The EVA interlayer provides excellent resistance to moisture and humidity, making it particularly suitable for outdoor applications and environments exposed to intensive use or changing climate conditions. As a result, EVA laminated glass is widely specified for applications where safety, durability and aesthetics must perform together. Typical applications include balustrades, canopies, façades, glass stair treads, walkable glass floors and shower doors and screens. In addition, patterned glass can also be laminated using EVA interlayers.
