Stratobel Strong is an advanced laminated glass solution featuring a Saflex DG41 structural interlayer. Compared to conventional PVB interlayers used in safety glass, Saflex DG41 offers significantly higher stiffness, delivering superior mechanical performance and enhanced structural capabilities. In specific applications, this increased strength can eliminate the need for heat treatment, helping to reduce manufacturing costs and lead times. It can also enable glass thickness optimisation, resulting in slimmer, lighter glazing solutions that are easier to transport, handle and install.
With exceptional glass adhesion and improved resistance to moisture ingress, Saflex DG471 significantly reduces the risk of delamination and ensures long-term durability, even in demanding environmental conditions.
Designed for exterior applications, Stratobel Strong with Saflex DG41 enables new possibilities in architectural glazing, balustrades and structural glass applications. Unlike conventional laminated safety glass, it can be used in exposed outdoor environments without the need for a protective U-channel profile, combining aesthetics, reliability and performance.
