Using an advanced screen-printing process, ceramic enamels are permanently fused into the glass during thermal toughening. Certified Quality & Durability
EuroDesign screen-printed glass is manufactured in accordance with EN 12150 and meets the highest standards for safety, durability and long-term performance. Only environmentally responsible enamels are used, completely free from lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium (Cr VI).
To ensure lasting performance under demanding conditions, EuroDesign has been extensively tested for:
- Atmospheric condensation test in accordance with DIN 50017 (elevated temperature of 52°C).
- Temperature cycling test (-40 °C to +90 °C, 5 cycles).
- Humid sulphur dioxide atmosphere test ‘Kesternich Test’ in accordance with ISO 6988 (DIN 50018 - SFW 2,0S).
- Abrasion resistance test in accordance with ANSI Z 26.1, Tests 17 and 18.
- Water leaching resistance test in accordance with DIN 38 414 Part 4.
- Resistance testing with 10% citric acid and 3,5% hydrochloric acide in accordance with ASTM C724-91.
- Sulphide resistance test using Na2S in acetic acid in accordance with ASTM C777-93.
- Mechanical strength test in accordance with DIN 18516 Part 4.
- Bending test in accordance with DIN 52 292 Part 1.
- Ball impact test in accordance with DIN 52 338.
