Glass Grinding Machine Operator

Like working with machinery and getting hands-on with the production process? Join our team in Bornem and help turn glass into a precisely finished product.

You keep production on track

You'll be responsible for setting up and operating the grinding machine to achieve the required dimensions and finish. You'll also keep the production line supplied, sort the glass according to production requirements and check the finished pieces for quality.

Alongside the hands-on work, you'll use a computer to record and process production data, helping keep everything organised and running efficiently.

Your skills & approach

• A technical qualification at upper-secondary level (third stage of TSO) or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical aptitude, logical thinking and experience setting up machinery.
• A structured way of working and an eye for detail.
• The ability to take responsibility for your own work while contributing to the team.
• A willingness to learn and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Good spoken and written Dutch.
• Willingness to work alternating early and late shifts.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus but not a must.
